Egor Misiura is a forensic expert with more than 25 years of professional experience in audit, investigations, compliance and expert witness services across Europe, Central Asia and the CIS. He worked as a partner in one of the BIG 4 companies for many years and currently specialises in expert witness services, forensic accounting, contentious valuations and quantification of damages.

Egor has extensive experience acting as an independent expert in high-value, complex cross-border disputes. He has prepared expert witness reports for proceedings before the UK High Court, LCIA, ICC, SCC, ICSID, state courts in Cyprus, Netherlands, Germany, Uzbekistan, Georgia and other local and international arbitration institutions. His mandates frequently involve claims ranging from tens of millions to over USD 1 billion and cover issues such as quantum of damages, fraud, compliance, shareholder disputes, M&A conflicts, dividend disputes, banking insolvencies and fiduciary breaches.

He has been recognised by Who’s Who Legal (Lexology) as a recommended expert and was awarded Client Choice in 2021. In judicial proceedings, he has been commended for delivering meticulous, independent and reliable expert analysis.Egor has led numerous investigations and compliance reviews across a wide range of industries including banking, insurance, metals and mining, oil and gas, power and utilities, construction, agriculture, retail, transportation and pharmaceuticals.

His experience includes large-scale FCPA and UK Bribery Act reviews, management fraud investigations, asset tracing, corporate intelligence, trust and trustee reviews, bankruptcy investigations, and sanctions-related analyses for individuals and corporates.FuPrior to focusing on forensic and dispute advisory work, Egor spent 16 years in audit and assurance, leading engagements for major international and CIS groups reporting under IFRS, US GAAP and local standards. He has also led over 30 assurance engagements on non-financial and ESG reporting under ISAE 3000 and ISAE 3410, including greenhouse gas emissions verification.

Egor is a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and holds an ACCA Certificate in Business Valuation. He holds a Master’s degree in Finance and Insurance. He is a frequent speaker and moderator at international legal and forensic conferences, addressing topics such as damages quantification, sanctions, AI in expert work, blockchain disputes and ESG-related risks.
